Day Trip to Pittsburgh

For this trip to
scenic
Pittsburgh
on Saturday, April 10, we
will leave from the HUB building promptly at 8:00 AM, and arrive in
Pittsburgh
at 10:30 AM. We will spend the morning and early afternoon in the
Oakland
section of
Pittsburgh
, where you can choose between visiting the Carnegie Museums of Art and
Natural History, the Cathedral of Learning’s nationality rooms, and/or
Heinz Memorial Chapel. The afternoon options include visiting the
Heinz
History
Center
,
Point
State Park
and
Fort
Pitt
Museum
, and riding the Incline railcar to the top of
Mt.
Washington
for a panoramic view overlooking the city. We will leave
Pittsburgh
at 5:00 PM, stop at Monroeville Mall for supper at their food court and
some time for shopping, and arrive back in
State College
at 10:00 PM. Your transportation costs will be $30; you will pay your
own admission fees, as listed below, for those activities you plan to
visit, as well as buying or bringing food for lunch and dinner.
To register, complete the trip registration form below and return it to
me with your payment. This trip will be limited to the first 28 people
who register. (Make checks payable to "Bill Saxton". If I am
not in my office when you come, you can slide a check or envelope with
cash under my office door with your registration form; I will send you
an email confirming I received it.)

This trip is
limited to the first 28 people who register by paying the transportation
fee of $20 (by cash or check payable to "Bill Saxton"). The
deadline for registering for this trip is Monday, March 31, 2003. We
