Monday, August
18 - Visit Penn's Cave, America's only all water cavern,
involving a guided one-hour underground boat tour of the cavern in
nearby Centre Hall. Leave from the HUB at 4pm. Cost $10.

Wednesday,
August 20 - Visit the Belleville Farmer's Market and see the
unique Amish people who travel by horse-and-buggy and choose not to
use electricity or own cars. Leave from the HUB at 9:30am, and
return to campus at 3:00pm. Also, plan to bring food for lunch
or some additional money to buy lunch. Contact Bill Saxton at wjs9@psu.edu

Saturday, August
23 - Walk to the top of Mt. Nittany! We'll leave from the
HUB at 10am for a short ride to the nearby town of Lemont at
the base of Mt. Nittany. A steady walk of about 30 minutes to
the top provides a panoramic view of Penn State. While at the
top we will have a snack, then return to campus by 12:30pm.
For the hike you should wear comfortable walking shoes and bring
along a bottle of water. Contact Bill Saxton at wjs9@psu.edu

30 people.
Saturday, August
23 - Visit the Grange Fair in nearby Centre Hall, typical
of many annual fairs in rural America, with shows of farm animals
and equipment, and interesting exhibits and entertainers.
Leave from the HUB at 5pm; return to campus at 9pm.
Bring additional money for any food, souvenirs, or amusement rides
